OPENING TIMES :
Our phone lines and showroom are open 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday with the exception of Bank Holidays. Our Webshop is open for browsing and placing orders 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
UK DELIVERY LEAD TIMES :
Orders are despatched with either Royal Mail or Carrier depending on the weight and size of the parcel. Standard delivery takes 2-3 business days.
All parcels require a signature on delivery so please give a delivery address where there will be someone in to receive it. If there is no one in your parcel will be held at your local sorting office for you to arrange alternative delivery or collection details. If you don’t contact your local sorting office within 7 days your parcel may be returned to us which will incur an extra cost when re-despatching your goods.
We aim to despatch all in stock orders placed before 2pm the same day. Orders placed after 2pm may not be despatched until the following working day. Items not in stock will be placed on back order and despatched as soon as they come in. If this takes more than 2-3 working days we will contact you so that you have the choice to wait, consider an alternative or cancel the outstanding order. Although we aim to provide the fastest possible service, up to 28 days from the date of despatch must still be allowed for all standard delivery parcels before we can make a claim for “lost goods”.
UK DELIVERY CHARGES :
Standard post & packing charge on most orders is £2.95 but we reserve the right to quote a higher amount for large bulky items or special delivery requirements.

OVERSEAS DELIVERY LEAD TIMES :
Orders are despatched with either Royal Mail International Signed For or DHL Express depending on the volumetric weight of the parcel. Delivery times vary depending on the destination but most orders arrive within 7-10 working days. We aim to despatch all in stock orders placed before 2pm the same day. Orders placed after 2pm may not be despatched until the following working day. Items not in stock will be placed on back order and despatched as soon as they come in. If this takes more than 2-3 working days we will contact you so that you have the choice to wait, consider an alternative or cancel the outstanding order. We must however allow 28 working days from the date of despatch before we can make a claim against the carrier in the unlikely event of loss.
Allowances must be made for Customs clearance, which is beyond our control. You are welcome to contact your local Customs office to check on the progress of your package if you feel it is being held there for clearance.
PLACES WE DON’T SHIP TO - SORRY : We regret we cannot ship goods to the following places , BFPO addresses (please give us a full physical address and we can send your goods), India, Indonesia, Philppines.
OVERSEAS DELIVERY CHARGES :
EU COUNTRIES : The cost of carriage to addresses within the EU is £12.50 on all orders regardless of the value except those including bulky items. A guide price for carriage on bulky items will be given at checkout but this may have to be recalculated depending on the volumetric weight of the parcel. If the actual cost exceeds that quoted we will contact you for authorisation.
REST OF WORLD : The cost of carriage to all other addresses outside the EU is £15.00 on all orders regardless of the value except those including bulky items. A guide price for carriage on bulky items will be given at checkout but this may have to be recalculated depending on the volumetric weight of the parcel. If the actual cost exceeds that quoted we will contact you for authorisation.
SPECIAL NOTES: EU Countries include: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Southern Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Greece, Finland, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia.
All orders going to SOUTH AFRICA and CHINA : are sent with DHL regardless of weight and size for security reasons. The cost for carriage must be met by the customer and will be calculated at the time of despatch. If the amount required is more than that quoted at checkout you will be contacted for authorisation.
OVERSEAS VAT & IMPORT DUTIES:
If you are a customer outside the EU or a business within the EU with an EU registration number you are entitled to receive your goods VAT free. All our advertised prices are in Pounds Sterling and include VAT with the exception of Safety helmets, Children’s clothing, Energy Food powders and Books which are all zero rated for VAT.
VAT will be shown on your invoice when you complete checkout but as a guide the VAT free price can be found with the following formula PRICE X 0.851 = VAT FREE PRICE. There may be import duties that will apply to the goods you are buying. If you want to find out what will apply to your order you will need to contact your local customs office. We are unable to offer a guide on this as they vary greatly from one country to another. You are responsible for the payment of any fees levied by your government and we are unable to reimburse any costs incurred regardless of the circumstances. Please note, by law, we have to complete a customs declaration to be attached to the outside of every package we send overseas. It is a criminal offence to falsify and details on this form. We cannot inaccurately describe the contents, claim a lower value or mark as a gift. Please do not ask, or expect us to do any of the above. We do not make the laws of your or our own country, we just follow them.
